- I am an unschooling mom of two boys who are now 12 and 15. I have been married for seventeen years to Nicolas who is from Belgium and is an organic vegetable farmer. We love to travel but farming doesn't always make that really easy. Fortunately, we have close family in Holland, Montana, NY, MA and Australia so in order to see them we hope to be forced to occasionally take a big trip... in the meantime, we farm, play yu-gi-oh, play baseball, make up games, watch movies, play world of warcraft and hang out with friends.

Oh, what pretty tomatoes! I love the green zebra, I think I will grow those next year.
We planted the green zebras this year, and I can't wait to try them. Those are our only overlap with you. We also planted Brandywine, Amish paste, San Marzano, Sweet Olive, German Strawberry, Gold Nugget and Sungold.
The Gold Nuggets are in and oh, so sweet. Not heirlooms, but I just have to have those and the Sungolds, which should be close behind. My Sweet Olives are beginning to ripen now too. Yay!
Too late for the tomato schtick, but the other day I quartered up some Gold Nuggets and put them fresh and cool over couscous, added some fresh basil and homemade garlic chevre. Simple and delicious!
I loved eating these these all weekend... straight from the tupperware dish and sandwiched between ham and havarti. Thank you so so much for sharing the fruits of your labor.
Danielle, don't you love the names? "Sweet Olives" - for a tomato! I want one.
Stephanie, the macaroni and cheese was just as appreciated around here. We'll have to get you some more tomatoes.

How about (my favorite) tomatos with basil and cubed mozzerella, with a dash of olive oil?
Aah, if only I were closer, I'd come abeggin'....

Yes! That is how I brought it to my local friend Stephanie - with buffalo mozzarella cheese, olive oil and basil. My favorite way to eat these tomatoes...
