If the Red Sox can win the World Series twice in three years...

what else is possible? Anyone who grew up in Boston, being brought to the edge of victory time and time again, only to have your hopes obliterated - gruesomely smashed like a precious North End Pastry being thrown against the barnacled wharf to be gobbled by a lobster - anyone who is in Red Sox Nation knows what I mean.

I am very happy to have witnessed these two big wins. And I'm back to being a non-sports person (but for soccer-mom duties) until they make it to the playoffs again.

You've got to admit, after all these years, it is pretty cool.

I must have underplayed or counteracted my enthusiasm with all that lobster gobbling talk. It is beyond cool! I truly believe that any thing is now possible.

Don't you feel a little sorry for the die-hard Cub fans out here?? We were so happy just to make it as far as we did.

Boston was one of my favorite cities to go to when we lived in Connecticut....awesome town.

Yay! Red Sox! We watched and are finally catching up from being sleep deprived. My mom, in her retirement, has become a fan which makes it all the more fun.
Our children will grow up with a completly different self-esteem. From being honored and unschooled? Nope, from being fans of a winning team LOL.
